Description | This pictorial bookplate, created using brown ink on white paper, portrays Wilton House (Wilton, England) built during the 17th century and the seat of the Earl of Pembroke. Notes | Lady Beatrice Eleanor Paget (b. 1883, d. 8 February 1973) was the daughter of Lord Alexander Victor Paget and Hon. Hester Alice Stapleton-Cotton. In 1904 she married Reginald Herbert, 15th Earl of Pembroke (son of Sidney Herbert, 14th Earl of Pembroke and Beatrix Louisa Lambton). In 1919 Beatrice Eleanor Paget was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) and held the office of Mayor of Wilton (England) from 1942 - 1946 and in 1954.
