NotesLes Religieuses des SS. Noms de Jesus et Marie" is the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, a religious order that began a Congregation, as well as a school, at Longueuil in 1843. The signature by Sister Thérèse-de-Jésus is likely Salomé Martin (1823-1890), a pioneering member of the order who would have been active in 1867. The name "Maria Leuonds" is a guess based on the handwriting. The assumed last name is used as the basis for the classification for this bookplate.
