NotesReginald H. Tupper was a soldier, and a barrister. Reginald H. Tupper was Dean of the Vancouver Law School from 1938 to 1943, the forerunner of Faculty of Law at the University of British Columbia (UBC) ; he advocated for such a faculty at a post-secondary level. Reginald H. Tupper received The Degree of Doctor of Laws (honoris causa) on September 4, 1952 from UBC. Reginald H. Tupper was the son of Sir Charles Hibbert Tupper, Solicitor General of Canada (1896) who in turn was the son of Sir Charles Tupper, the sixth Prime Minister of Canada.
