NotesJames Ross Ballantyne (1906 - 1970) of St. Thomas, Ontario was the son of Charles C. Ballantyne and Ethel Maude Trenholm. He married Mary Elizabeth Fletcher (Mollie) Meigs of Montreal on February 8th, 1930. They had two children. On June 24th, 1938 Mollie Meigs' petition for divorce was granted. James later married Hazel Shaughnessy and had two more children.
