A sun burst with a face. Profile of a black crow, wings stretched out, and beak apart perched on a ball with the name of the bookplate owner, and a ribbon with MORTUI RESURGENT.

[Bookplate for Arnin Neuensundschen]
In black ink, this bookplate consists of a round wreathed textual area in the centre. Behind it is a hearth-type frame with a ring hanger on the left and right side. There is a curtain strung up through the left ring, across and through to the right ring. At the centre-top of the image is the face of an angel. At the base of the image is a globe, partially covered by a clothe, and next to it are a book and a bust.

The bookplate depicts a lakeside scene in which a hotel is set among trees at the edge of the water. Prominent hills also give a sense of the surrounding landscape. This picturesque scene is framed by a border of trees. Amongst the leaves at the top of image is a scroll that reads 'Ex-Libris.' At the bottom of the image, an open book displays the words 'Rogers Rock.'.

An image of an orange cowl surrounding a face. There is a Japanese Kanji Character drawn below the face amongst the cowl. The image is of a classical figure from Japanese mythology. The myth is of a hermit who goes to a cave and does not move for many years causing his limbs to whither until only a head remains. A grey border outlines the figure and the text. The face is facing towards the right.

[Bookplate by Eiichi Hirose]
The central image is of the red and black outline of a face used in a Japanese mask possibly used for Kabuki. The face is located towards the right side of the bookplate. The face is used for a demon called an Oni. A bamboo flute done in a light brown lies to the lower left side of the bookplate. It has some Kanji writing symbols as well as a few cherry blossom petals.
