1.	[Bookplate for John Charles Alison Heriot by Graham Johnston]	This bookplate's design features, in black ink, an escutcheon, argent (silver), charged on the fess with three cinque foils within an indented bordure. Above the escutcheon is a tilting helmet, charged with a straight wreath and a dexter hand couped at the wrist, which holds a laurel wreath aloft. Decorative vegetative mantling surrounds the escutcheon within the bounds of a rectangular frame. Behind the laurel wreath, waves a banner containing the bookplate originator's Latin motto and below the coat of arms is a separate compartment containing the originator's name. This bookplate appears to be a smaller version of BP MUR SL P H475b, but the creator's initials are barely visible amongst the mantling.

5.	[Bookplate for Ethel Kingsley-Baillie and Charles Kingsley-Baillie]	Textual and pictorial bookplate created using burgundy ink on ivory paper. The image and text are within a thin frame ; at the top centre is a standing dragon holding a ball below which is a banner.

6.	[Bookplate for George Macaulay Booth]	This is a pictorial bookplate created with black ink on white paper. In the foreground are cobblestones and an open doorway. On the left of the doorway is a desk with a lit candle and an open book on it and in the middle of the doorway is a sundial. Outside of the doorway are rolling hills with two paths: one leading to a village and the other to a bay with two boats on it. A sun sets/rises over the bay. At the bottom is a Latin inscription framed with two roses that reads: "Nec temere nec timide [neither rashly nor timidly] / Dulce Periculum [danger is sweet]." Two animals are portrayed on the right and left sides of the inscription.

7.	[Bookplate for Dickens Fellowship]	This pictorial bookplate features green ink on green paper. Morning-glories create a floral frame to the text, at the bottom of which is a picture of Dickens.

8.	[Bookplate for John Peter Braselmann]	Pictorial bookplate created using black ink on white paper. The image portrays a scholar seated in front of a bookshelf, reading a large book. The border consists of open and closed books and two lit candles at the top right and left corners.

9.	[Bookplate for John M. Cameron by Soderberg]	Image is of a portrait shaped border composed of three black fillets surrounding alternating images, also flowing around the interior border, of thistles alternating between facing upwards and down. On the interior side of the frame of thistles are two more black fillets separating the frame of thistles from the central image of a large thistle and its leaves facing upwards.

10.	[Bookplate for Charles Alan Crawley]	The armorial begins with a bird (possibly a crane) facing dexter and armed with a small argent X. It stands on a small upraised mound separated from the top of a healm by a wreath. The helm is closed and also facing to the dexter. It stands above an ermine shield. The shield begins with an ermine chief with a bend across it holding three comets. The dexter chief and sinister chief positions are occupied by marlets. The honor point has two cranes, one at the dexter and one at the sinister points. The fess point is covered with an argent banner with a pair of crosses at the sinister and dexter point and an argent X at the center point. The base of the shield has a crane in the center point. Below the shield is a banner with the latin motto: "ESSE QUAM VIDERI". This translates to mean: "To be rather than to seem."

12.	[Bookplate for Beatrice Eleanor Paget by T&H Sc. and A. S.]	This pictorial bookplate, created using brown ink on white paper, portrays Wilton House (Wilton, England) built during the 17th century and the seat of the Earl of Pembroke. It is believed that Sir Philip Sidney wrote Arcadia at Wilton House. The picture is framed with vertical columns and garlands. The creator of the bookplate is listed as [T & H / Sc. A.S.].

13.	[Bookplate for John Hurley]	The central image is of a man facing to the left wearing 16th century Tudor clothing, shoes and haircut. He is carrying a tray with an inkwell and a feather pen standing upright from it.

14.	[Bookplate for Charles Philip Huntington by P. B. W.]	The central image is a family armorial. The image begins with a horse head erased facing to the dexter. A rose sits on its throat and the head sits atop a wreath. The wreath sits atop a helm face open and centred signifying a baron. Below the helm is a shield and mantling sits to either side of the entire image. The shield has a small escutcheon placed in the dexter chief position and the escutcheon bears a gules left hand on a field of argent. Two roses sit on the main argent shield between a gules pile with a horse head erased.

15.	[Bookplate for John Allen Brown by C. Bird]	The bookplate portrays a prehistoric scene shown from the perspective of a fur-clad man and woman looking from inside a cave towards a primitive wilderness scene (with stags and a mammoth). The image is framed by an assortment of artifacts, such as vases, swords, axe heads, flints, and other weapons. At the right bottom of the frame is a dagger with a flag inscribed with the initials "S.P.Q.R." an acronym for the Latin phrase "Senatus Populusque Romanus" ("The Senate and Roman People"). Below the picture is an open book on the left side of which is a shield and on the right side the bookplate text. The shield is blue with a gold chevron and three clams. At the top of the shield is mantling and closed helmet signifying esquire or gentleman. On the left side of the shield is a banner reading: "MENTE ET MALLEO."

16.	[Bookplate for Sir Charles Cockerell]	Armorial bookplate. The shield is divided in half to show the arms of both the husband and wife. The left shield, representing the husband, is divided into six sections two of which portray roosters, between which is a face surrounded by leaves. Above the top rooster is a crescent signifying the second son. The middle section is argent (silver or white) with two chevrons. The top chevron is adorned with three flowers and at the top and bottom of the chevron are three eagle heads ; the bottom chevron is adorned with three roundlets and above and below the chevron are three flowers or leaves. Between the chevrons and at the centre of the six sections is a small shield with a left hand facing palm-out. The top right corner shows two lion heads and a bend adorned with three fleur-de-lis. On the bottom left corner is a lion. The second shield shows two lions passant guardant on a black background with an or border. Above the shield is a wreathed helm facing forward with a raised visor therein signifying barony or knighthood. Above the helm is a crescent and crowned tiger head. On both sides of the shield are angelic supporters each carrying a flag staff (adorned with the sun and crescent moon) as well as palm/laurel fronds (on which birds are perched). The figures are adorned in robes decorated with fleur-de-lis and their chests are imprinted with crosses.

17.	[Bookplate for John Ker Davis]	The main image is framed by a single black fillet and is bordered by two banners, one at the top and one at the bottom. The central image is of a two masted ship sailing towards the right of the picture. There are a number of clouds in the background and rolling waves below the ship. There are two people visible on board the ship, one is holding up a telescope also facing to the right.

18.	[Bookplate for Charles N. Hood, Mary K. Hood, and Dorothy Hood by A. H. N.]	Pictorial bookplate. Within an elaborate floral border is a square divided into both text and an image of a fireplace and bookshelf. At the bottom of the frame is face, below which is the artist's initials and date.
