Title:
Description:
1.
[Bookplate for Lewis Hutchens by Don Wier]
This bookplate's design features a devil looking upwards and leaning against a book. He seems to point towards the bookplate originator's name with his left-hand, while holding a fountain pen in the crook of his other arm. Stylistically, this ex-libris appears to have originated in the early part of the 20th-century.
2.
[Bookplate for Cercle Cremazie]
Printed in black ink on tan paper, a very ornate scrollwork border surrounds the text.
3.
[Bookplate for Steve Borden by Larry Reynolds]
This pictorial bookplate, created using black ink on white paper, portrays two thieves in front of a bookshelf. Above the bookshelf is a pendant reading "Kent" and in the right hand corner is the artist's signature.
4.
[Bookplate for Edith Dair and Carl Dair]
A man, bare-chested stands on a rocky outcropping, holding a book in his hand, balanced against his thigh. Light streams from above. Chestnut coloured ink on cream background. Originators' names in black type.
