1.	[Bookplate for United Service Club]	This bookplate's design features a royal crown above a thistle, clovers, a rose, and two surrounding branches.

2.	[Bookplate for J. E. Horvath by Gabriella Krisztimkovich]	The bookplate belongs to J. Eugene Horvath who is a famous bibliographer living in Vancouver. The central image is of a Canadian mapleleaf. The left portion of the leaf has a gilt inlaid ceramic plate with a quill pen over it signifying a love of writing. The central portion of the leaf has a set of mountains signifying the Vancouver area with a camera below it signifying a love of photography. The right portion of the leaf has an image of a Hungarian King St. Ladislas The central portion of the leaf has an image of the Buda side of Budapest and shows the central castle and churches lying in relief above the Danube river. This portion of the bookplate indicates the fact that Horvath was born in Hungary and emigrated to Canada.

3.	[Bookplate for John Bebb]	This bookplate consists of an escutcheon, azure (blue), with an or (gold) embattled fess. The fess contains two cross crosslets. On the azure surface of the escutcheon are three crescents, two over one. The escutcheon is bordered by an elaborate frame and topped by a visored helm in profile. Atop the helm is a crest wreath and an unicorn's head, couped and horned. From the helm flows extensive mantling. Below the escutcheon is a banner containing the latin motto.

4.	[Bookplate for William Charles de Meuron Wentworth-FitzWilliam by John Vinycomb]	This bookplate consists of an escutcheon framed by a solid bordure. The escutcheon is divided quarterly ; first and fourth quadrants are lozengy, argent (silver) and gules (red) ; second and third quadrants are sable (black) with an or (gold) chevron, and three lion heads, two over one. The escutcheon is crested by a large earl's coronet. Above the coronet are two additional crests ; the dexter consists of a helm, sinister and grated, crowned by what appears to be a duke's coronet, and elaborate mantling ; the sinsister consists of a helm, dexter and grated, topped by a curved wreath, a gryphon passant, and elaborate mantling. The escutcheon and bordure are supported by a male "savage" on either side. In heraldry, the "savage" is a symbol of wildness and purity. Both figures are bearded and nude, except for a wreath of leaves to cover their middle section. Both figures hold a tree trunk. The dexter figure, who appears younger, holds the trunk with his right arm and it descends behind him. The sinister figure, who appears older, holds the trunk with his left arm and it descends in front of him. The escutcheon and the figures rest on a mantel, which is draped with a banner containing the Latin motto. From the mantel hang three medals ; the medal on the left represents the Order of the British Empire, the medal in the centre represents the Royal Victorian Order, and the medal on the right represents the Distinguished Service Order.

5.	[Bookplate]	In black ink. This bookplate consists of an escutcheon tilted from a central vertical axis. The escutcheon is gules (red), charged with an ornate vegetative design, vert (green), and a chief, or (gold), are three cross-crosslets fitchy, gules. Above the escutcheon is a collar, wrapped with a pair of stirrups and set upon a backdrop of two intersecting laurel garlands. The garlands form an 'x' pattern wrapping around the escutcheon and the charges above it, partially framing them. The collar is charged with a straight wreath, which in turn, is charged with a courtly-styled woman, clutching two stag antlers. Below the escutcheon is a manner displaying the originators Latin motto.

6.	[Bookplate for James Phinney Baxter]	In black ink. This ex-libris includes a portrait of the originator in the upper-right-hand corner, identified by his name and geographic locale. The remaining two-thirds of the bookplate consist of a depiction of the interior of a library. In a section spanning the base of the bookplate is a cursive, printed motto and a hand-written book number. The printed text is drawn from the last two lines of the second stanza of a poem composed by Baxter, entitled, "The Library."

7.	[Bookplate for Montreal Library for Boys and Girls]	Dark brown ink on light brown paper. An image of a young boy and girl in a library with many books open and on the floor. The young girl reaches up to pull down a book from the top shelf while the boy sits cross-legged on the floor reading.

8.	[Bookplate for Curtis Henry Remy]	Printed in black ink on white paper with thick-thin horizontal border lines at the top, middle and bottom of the ex libris. There is an image of a cock or rooster between top and middle borders and the name of the owner between the middle and bottom borders. Pencil strokes were added to the bottom third of the ex libris after printing.

9.	[Bookplate for Toronto Public Library by J. E. H. MacDonald]	In brown ink on white paper, a boy and a girl are standing with their backs to each other in front of two shelves of books. Around the children are four circular images: a ship at sea, a knight holding a shield, a beaver, and a wheel and tools.

10.	[Bookplate for James Scott Howard]	Black ink on cream paper. Crest features a ship’s steering wheel with stringy foliage extending from the left and leafy foliage extending from the right atop a crest-wreath. Shield is sable and party per fess. Top section is charged with a white cross in the center with a fleur-de-lis on either side. The bottom section is charged with a white ship steering wheel that is identical to the one in the crest. The motto is printed on curling ribbon below the shield in capitalized, serif, white block font with black outline. Below the motto, the bookplate owner’s name Is printed in sentence case, black, serif font.
