[Bookplate for James Phinney Baxter]
In black ink. This ex-libris includes a portrait of the originator in the upper-right-hand corner, identified by his name and geographic locale. The remaining two-thirds of the bookplate consist of a depiction of the interior of a library. In a section spanning the base of the bookplate is a cursive, printed motto and a hand-written book number. The printed text is drawn from the last two lines of the second stanza of a poem composed by Baxter, entitled, "The Library."

[Bookseller's Ticket for W. C. Chewett and Company]
In black ink on white or yellow paper, the bookseller's ticket consists of a double border surrounding black text.

[Bookplate for Brockville Public Library]
In black ink on white paper, the bookplate consists of the seal of Brockville, incorporating scenes of ships, trains, beehives, and a beaver, in the upper right corner and black text.

In black ink on tan paper. A simple border frames the text.

[Bookplate for Emmanuel Church Sunday School]
Black ink on cream paper. Floral border surrounds text. Includes one hand-written identification number and rubber-stamped date, both in black ink. A light “X” is drawn across the plate in pencil.
