21.	[Bookplate for William Lawson Grant by J. E. H. MacDonald]	This bookplate features a wind-blown tree set upon a waving banner containing the originator's motto. It is surrounded with flora, which contains Scottish thistles, maple leaves, a fleur de lis, the number 59, two portraits of men, and the artist's initials. At the top of the design are three escutcheons, all argent (silver) and charged with various elements.

22.	[Bookplate for Stanley C. Bagg]	This bookplate consists of black gothic text surrounded by an elaborate border, all printed on yellow paper.

23.	[Bookplate for Lewis Harcourt]	There are several black fillets separating the top and bottom banners from the central and side images present on the bookplate. The sidebars of the bookplate have vines trailing down the die. The central image is an armorial. The image begins with a peacock symbolizing renewal or resurrection standing on top of a coronet on top of a closed helm facing dexter. The helm surmounts a shield leaning from the dexter chief to the sinister base. Both the helm and the shield are surrounded by mantling on either sides. The shield is a gules field with two bars of or. This bookplate belonged to Baron Lewis Harcourt of Nuneham who was an important administrator within the British government during the early decades of the 20th century.

24.	[Bookplate]	The text of the bookplate is surrounded by an elaborate border decorated with various religious figures and themes. Angels kneel on either side of the upper corners and face inwards towards a man holding a book and looking outwards from an arch. The sides are decorated with ornate columns, at the bottom of which are crosses and a symbol of the Holy Trinity. Both the top and bottom portions of the border are decorated with stylized curls. The word 'Catholic' is printed in a bold font, and 'Circulating Library' is in a curly stylized Gothic font. The rules of the library are divided from the rest of the text by bars at the top and bottom, and there is a hand symbol pointing to the library's hours of operation at the bottom of the bookplate. The price of the library subscription is given in shillings, dating this to the era of the Canadian pound which was in use until currency decimalization came into force in 1858.

The man has black hair and is wearing antique garments from the Italian Renaissance and white tights. He is also reading a large black book and has a small black leather belt and pouch. The whole image is surrounded by a double filleted black border.

35.	[Bookplate by Eiichi Hirose]	The central image is surrounded by a grey rectangular frame within which is a yellow background. The image is a sideways fan shaped segway onto several pink flowers with a dragonfly hovering over them. The larger side of the fan is facing the left.

37.	[Bookplate by Eiichi Hirose]	The central image is of a white hollow horses head that might be used as part of a costume decoration for a festival day. The horse has a blue nose a beige and orange halter, a black and orange surrounded oval on its side and a blue and orange striped bridle. It is facing towards the left.

38.	[Bookplate for Montreal Catholic School Commission]	The bookplate is surrounded by a stylized block border with a design within it. At the top, the school board crest is printed above the words 'Commission des Ecoles Catholiques de Montreal'. The body of the bookplate is comprised of a printed form with space for a student's name, reason for the award, grade, school, date and year to be filled in by hand.
