61. [Bookplate for Joseph Edgar Guimont by Chalifour Ltée Journal "Le Nord"] [Bookplate for Joseph Edgar Guimont by Chalifour Ltée Journal “Le Nord”] Blue ink on cream paper. Capitalized, block, sans-serif letters are printed at the top of the bookplate. Below the text is gothic font in sentence case with a thin blue line framing it atop and below. In the center of the bookplate is an image of a right hand reaching out of a cloud to pour oil into an oil lamp with the flame burning. The lamp is elaborately decorated with floral and curlicue embellishments. The lamp sits atop a closed book with the spine facing out. The cloud extends behind the lamp and book as well. A thin blue line separates the image from sentence-case serif font and another thin blue line is below that text. Below the line is thin italicized font and a dotted line. At the bottom of the bookplate is a thin blue line directly above some smaller, sentence-case serif blue font.

62. [Bookplate for J.E.G. Bibliothèque] [Bookplate for J.E.G. Bibliothèque] Green ink on white paper. Thin green border is straight on the left, right, and bottom sides and rounded on top. Three capitalized letters are printed in stylized, rounded green font. Below the letters is text in pseudo-gothic sentence-case font. Underneath that text is a small green circle with two lines extending from its left and right. Below is text in the previous pseudo-gothic font in a larger size. There are several images underneath the text. There is a line of three images: an open book with curling pages in the center with a six-pointed star on either side. The left star has a plus sign in the middle and the right star has a question mark in its center. Three more images are below: a green owl on a branch in the center with lit oil lamps on either side. The lamps each point inwards towards the owl and sit on thin green lines. Below the images is a thin green oval border that is straight on the top and bottom sides. Inside is curling thin green text sitting on a thin green line. At the right end of the line is another thicker perpendicular green line dividing the oval into two uneven sections.

63. [Bookplate for John William Griffin by Leslie Victor Smith] [Bookplate for John William Griffin by Leslie Victor Smith] Black ink on white paper. Perforated edges with round corners surround the bookplate. The bookplate is surrounded by an incomplete border of two black lines that do not connect at the top. There are spaced out diamond shapes on the border with black circular centres. At the top, the border folds into triangles at the left and right corners. Each corner has a square flower with four petals and one leaf with a darker background. The border frames an image with a rounded pointed top. The image shows a desk with a window looking onto a moving steam engine. At the top of the image is a circle with a white border. In the centre on a gray background is a griffin rampant on a crest-wreath. The steam engine is outside the window in the centre of the bookplate with steam pouring out. The window has vertical and horizontal stripes with black circles at the intersections of the stripes. There is a curtain on either side of the window. Nothing sits on the window ledge, but on the desk in front is half of a lamp with a decorative, bell-shaped shade, eight books with different spine designs, an ink pot with a feather quill in it, and a workspace with several papers on it. Below the image is a black rectangle with capitalized white font. At the centre of the top and bottom of the rectangle is a slight downward facing point. Below the bottom point in black ink are the initials of the creator and the year of creation.

65. [Bookplate for Paul Gouin] [Bookplate for Paul Gouin] Black ink on cream paper. Border consisting of two thin black lines with solid black squares in the corners. Capitalized black serif-font written inside the border around an image. Image depicts a wooden house with a road in front. There are several clouds in the sky. There is a large tree in front of the side of the house, with the branches of another tree in the top right corner. The house has a wooden fence. In the foreground in the bottom right corner is grass.

66. [Bookplate for G. P. Girdwood] [Bookplate for G. P. Girdwood] Oval-shaped circular border with legend containing a motto printed in capital block letters across the top half. Bottom half of the border has shading, decorate circles, and a decorative end. Border made to look like a ribbon, one end of which loops over the bottom of the oval. End of the ribbon has thin borders, circular decorations, and almost tapers to a point with decorative curls at the end. In the center of the oval is a demi-lion rampant guardant. In its right paw, the lion holds a tree with round foliage at the top and sprawling roots at its base. Below the image is text written in stylized sentence-case serif font.

67. [Bookplate for Alton Goldbloom] [Bookplate for Alton Goldbloom] Black and gold ink on cream paper. Art deco stylized capitalized font printed a top an image of a baby emerging from the torso up out of a gold, three-petal flower. Black stripes of alternating thick and thin width appear behind the baby. The vertical stem of the flower has a gold centre and two leaves, one on each side of the stem, that are half black and half gold. The stem expands in width at the base and capitalized font is written in the non-printed space at the black base. Black ink capitalized font is written below.

68. [Bookplate for E. R. Hunter by Thoreau MacDonald] [Bookplate for E. R. Hunter by Thoreau MacDonald] Printed in black ink on cream paper. The image shows a loon facing left, in profile, with its beak open. It is framed by ripples of water above and below. In the background, two islands are reflected in the water. The island on the left is larger than the one on the right. At the bottom of the bookplate, the personal name and geographic location are provided in an all-caps, serif font. This is framed by two squares containing mirror images of a closed pine cone on an evergreen sprig.

69. [Bookplate for Frank John Joseph] [Bookplate for Frank John Joseph] Black ink on cream paper. The crest features a bushel of wheat tied with a ribbon around the center atop a crest-wreath. Shield is divided per chevron. The background is black and it is charged with five smaller bushels three over two. The three bushels are above the chevron and the remaining two are below. The shield is decorated with an elaborate white border. Below the shield, the motto is printed in black, capitalized, block sans serif font on a curling ribbon with decorative ends. Underneath the motto, the bookplate owner’s name is printed in black, sentence case gothic font.

70. [Bookplate for J. W. Longley by Francis Adams Sc.] [Bookplate for J. W. Longley by Francis Adams Sc.] Black ink on white paper. The crest features an arm grasping a dagger. The blade of the dagger has pierced the head of a bearded man that resembles a lion head. The arm is atop a crest-wreath. The wreath sits on a flower with a round center and 5 petals. To strips extend out of the flower across the front and back of a ribbon, connecting to the top of the shield. The ribbon extends straight out with curling ends. The motto is printed on the ribbon in black, capitalized, serif font. Shield is ermine with a black bend. Bend charged with three cheetah heads. The shield features a sinister canton paly. Underneath the shield, the bookplate owner’s name is printed in large, black, sentence case, gothic font. More text is printed below the name in smaller, black, capitalized, serif font.
