NotesAcademie Marie-Rose was a school built in Montreal in 1895 by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary of Québec. The Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary are a religious order founded by Eulalie Durocher, Mother Marie-Rose, whose goal was to establish schools in Québec for disadvantaged children.
