Notes | In a 1915 publication concerning the history shrine of Cap-de-la-Madeleine in Québec, there is mention of a letter from the Executive Committee of the Catholic Association of French-Canadians based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The letter expresses the support for Our Lady of the Cape, proclaiming the shrine to be an icon of French Catholic heritage. One of the signatories is Chs.-Ed. Parrot, who is listed as Assistant Secretary. Based on the information from the bookplate, this likely was the original owner. References: 1) Joyal, A. (1915).
