NotesW. MacDonald MacKay was a noted Scottish historian and Toronto book collector. In 1901, he published an article about carved stone monuments, 'Some Notes on the Celtic Monuments in Ross-shire, ' in The Celtic Monthly. shire, ' an article about carved stone monuments, in The Celtic Monthly. NOTE: UBC has plate of R. MacKay Fripp, Canadian architect -- possibly related.
