Notes | This bookplate was created for Miss Elizabeth Frances Webb of 29 Chesham Place, Belgravia, London. She died unmarried in 1877. She was the only daughter and heir of Colonel Edward Webb, M.P. for Gloucester, and inherited various estates in Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. Upon her death in 1877 she left large bequests to various local hospitals and medical charities. References: 1) Hazlitt, William Carew. 1971.
