NotesAccording to "A Genealogical and Heraldic Dictionary of the Landed Gentry of Great Britain and Ireland" by Sir Bernard Burke, the Magor family resided in the Penventon House near Redruth in Cornwall, England. The Magor family was involved in the brewing business in England from at least the 1760s. Jno. is common abbreviation for the name Jonathon.
