Notes | Frank Louis Flight was likely a colleague of the Canadian painter Edmond Dyonnet (1859-1954) who lived most of his life in Montreal. Doynnet's personal papers were donated to the University of Ottawa, among which was correspondence with Frank Flight. Additionally, Doynett published Memoirs of a Canadian Artist in 1951 which was translated from French with the assistance of Frank L. Flight. The Phillippe Masson Ex Libris Collection at McGill University contains the same bookplate, although their copy appears to have been printed using much darker ink with a greenish hue.
