NotesOne C. Bryson appears in in the second issue of the Montreal Transcript to inform the public of his removal to the location of another bookseller, where he will keep a stock of books and stationary and bind books at request. Campbell Bryson, bookseller, stationer, and manufacturer of blank books, then appears in the first regular Lovell's directory for Montreal in 1842. The business remained in the same location until 1853, when it moved to 30 St. Francois Xavier Street. The business appears to have closed in 1862.
