NotesWilifrid E. Boucher was born in Montreal in 1885 and studied civil engineering at the Polytechnical School (l'Ecole polytechnique), where graduated 'Maxima cum laude.' After graduating he travelled through the United States and set up a highly successful practice in Montreal in 1908. From 1908 to 1911 he was also a professor at the Polytechnical School The bookplate is also found in: McGill University Libraries, Rare Books and Special Collections Division, Philippe Masson Ex Libris Collection.
