| Description | In black ink, an oval escutcheon, or (gold), with a dancette chief, sable (black), containing three crescents, argent (silver). The crest is a dexter hand couped at the wrist and erected, floating above is an inverted crescent, argent. The Latin motto is found encircling the escutcheon on the bordure, argent. A wreath made of two laurel branches encapsulates the escutcheon. A banner, containing the German motto, is wrapped around the base of the wreath with the Badge of a Companion of the Order of the Bath hanging between it. |

| Notes | Admiral Sir Eliab Harvey was born in Chigwell, Essex, England on December 5th, 1758 and died there on February 20th, 1830 at 71 years of age. He resided at Rolls Park with his wife Lady Louisa Nugent. During his career as an officer of the Royal Navy, he most notably fought in the American War of Independence, the French Revolutionary War, the Napoleonic Wars, and with Admiral Lord Nelson in the Battle of Trafalgar. As thanks from Parliament and Lord Collingwood, he received a gold medal, a sword of honour from the Patriotic Fund, and was promoted Rear-Admiral. He was later promoted Vice-Admiral and knighted Knight Commander in 1815. In 1819, he was promoted to the rank of Admiral. Harvey also spent three terms as a Member of Parliament. His sole surviving heir was Georgina Augusta Harvey who died on October 11, 1878.
