| Notes | The L'Oeuvre des Bons Livres de Montreal was one of the earliest collections of Francophone books in Montreal. Modeled after the original French L'Oeuvre des Bons Livres des Bordeaux, the lending library was started in 1844 by the priests of the French order of Saint Sulpice. Presumably, the plate is printed by Louis Perrault, a Montreal printer during the era.
