Notes | Donald Guthrie (1840-1915) was a Scottish-born lawyer and politician based in Guelph. He joined the Ontario Bar in 1866. As a member of the Liberal party, he served on the federal Canadian House of Commons for five years and provincial Legislative Assembly of Ontario (serving Wellington County) for eight years.
